North Howell

The North Howell neighborhood is located on the north side of M-59 in Howell as the name suggests. Oak Grove Rd splits the area which is surrounded by Pineview Village, Rolling Oaks and Hickory Hills on it’s south border. This area is very rural and boasts large swaths of woods and land full of nature and wildlife.

Home to several clothing and gift stores, you’ll want to check out Heart of Michigan located at 203 W Grand River Ave and also Carriage house Designs located at 119 N Michigan Ave. No matter what your style is, you’ll find something for yourself or a cute gift for someone special at these boutiques.

Allen Edwards Homes built a neighborhood named Oak Grove Meadows which is full of custom built homes. The focus of this development was to create a naturesque setting for these beautiful custom homes. You’ll love the designs and the surrounding landscapes that make it feel like a magical place to live.

First Apostolic Church, first established in Farmington Hills, sold its older building in Farmington Hills and acquired this greenfield site in Howell. The church is a classic congregation of family-oriented worshippers with strong roots to its Finnish heritage. This congregation does not require classrooms and administrative spaces found in other churches. Instead, Faith Apostolic required a large sanctuary for family corporate worship, and a large dining hall for family fellowship, gathering and dining.

Leaving Arcadia Insurance Group you’ll want to head east on Bergin Rd and turn left on Old US 23 heading North.  In just over a mile the Kroger will be on your left hand side when you pass Highland Rd.

If we leave Kroger and turn right on M-59 heading West for almost 9 miles we can make a right on Oak Grove Rd. We’ll follow Oak Grove for a mile and a half until we come to the First Apostolic Lutheran Church that we previously mentioned above.

If we leave the church and make a right on Oak Grove, we can head North and visit the Oak Grove Meadows subdivision built by Allen Edwin Homes by turning right on Grove Meadows Blvd.

Heading out of Oak Grove Meadows by going west on Grove Meadows Blvd we can make a left on Oak Grove Rd and we’ll be right in the center of North Howell.
